Pepper Lunch

Grandma went on a short holiday with Bao Bei Gu Gu and so Papa, Mama and Gwendolyn has been eating out every night between 29 Aug-2 Sep! Most of the times, we went to the nearest IMM Shopping Centre for convenience sake, but have run out of ideas of what to eat. So on 31 Aug, Friday, Mama decided to bring Lyn Lyn to try out at Pepper Lunch, which is a "Japanese" food chain, with the fun part of serving your food on a hot plate, with a bit of "cooking" (more of stirring/flipping/mixing) to be done by yourself. Trying it for the first time, Lyn Lyn was so enthusiatic and excited!

Papa and Mama were searching everywhere for a photo shop to help Gwendolyn take a new photo for updating her passport before the end of August. Not sure why it was so difficult to find? Maybe the digital age has taken over from the traditional photo shops? We wondered all the way to Ghim Moh to give it a try but failed. However, Lyn Lyn discovered something else that was of interest to her: next to the Ghim Moh market, there was "car rental" for kids at the playground!

Swimming with Summer

It's been a while since Gwendolyn last played with Summer...both family met up at Far East Plaza for lunch and shopped for a while, before deciding to return to Lyn Lyn's home for a swim.

Lyn Lyn requested for a pair of funnel from Ikea, when we shopped there on National Day, and decided to bring them along to the pool to play water with. Also, Papa bought the floating bed from Toys R Us and have used it yet, we brought that along for the kids to play!

Without fail, Lyn Lyn showed off her braveness in jumping into the water, only with her arm bands, all by herself!

As usual, after playing at the big pool, Lyn Lyn will ask to go to the small pool, showing off how tall she is and can stand in there all by herself!

Playing Water at VivoCity

Gwendolyn hasn't met up with Frederick Di Di for a long time, as Auntie Adele was busy with her assignments in July. Finally, we managed to meet up at Vivocity on 4 August 2007, when Papa brought grandma to preview the National Day Parade. When we arrived, Mama brought Lyn Lyn to Mothercare to buy a pair of Dora sandles, before meeting the rest of them at the top level.

Once Lyn Lyn saw Frederick Di Di playing in the water, she didn't bother about her own clothings and just hopped in to join in the fun!

After the waterplay, we all went to Hogsbreath Cafe for dinner. Both Frederick Di Di and Lyn Lyn ordered kid's meal, with chicken nuggets and fries, with Lyn Lyn ordered additional corn on cob as a side! In the end, she finished all her corn on cob and Mama's corn on cob, but not the nuggets or fries!

I am STRONG

Gwendolyn went to try out the newly refurbished playground at IMM 3rd floor, which was previously located indoors on the second floor.

I am born in the year of the monkey and a strong monkey I am. See how I can hold myself up in the balancing bar!

She is considered strong for a 3-year-old child!

Art and Craft

Everytime when we walk past this art and craft store at IMM, Gwendolyn would ask curiously what that is all about. Finally, this time Mama let her to have a go at it and asked her to choose a cartoon character that she wanted to "paint" on. She chose Pooh bear and happily sat down with Mama to try out this new activity. She was so happy to be able to identify all the colours on Pooh bear's body and took the paints from the shelf to fill up the space!
