That very day, Mama took leave to accompany Gwendolyn to the farm! This time, we're able to set off on time, as the weather was better than last time! Off we go...

Since the N1 and K2 kids arrived in the early buses, they had their snack at the "lecture" area before commencing the formal farm tour! It's pandan cake this morning and Lyn Lyn had 3 slices...yum yum!
Not shy to ask for more when wanted!
Throughout the farm tour, everyone learned more about hydroponic farming and how plants are being protected under the plastic sheets and black sheets above the greenhouses! What an educational tour! I'm sure the K2 kids appreciated that...but wondering how much the N1s could appreciate though???
Funny incident: during the farm tour, the speaker brought us to see some basil leaves and was telling us the uses of it. Kids were handed out with a small stalk of it and Lyn Lyn, without failed, requested for a little stalk for herself. Instead of feeding herself the basil leave, she fed the whole stalk leaf by leaf into Mama's mouth! After that, Mama felt the numbing effect in her tongue, thanks to Lyn Lyn's adventurous trial!
After the tour around, we returned to the "lecture" area, whereby it's Q&A time for kids to win some goodies. Lyn Lyn, wanting her share too, kept telling Mama that she wanted to have the plants / seeds, etc...Whilst all the K2 kids answered the questions posed by the speaker, with a little help from Mama, Lyn Lyn raised her hand to one of the questions and shouted aloud KANGKONG! Everyone was amazed and excited to inform the speaker that Lyn Lyn from the N1 class has got the answer! Good thing is that until today, Lyn Lyn can still remember that answer she gave to win herself a packet of sunflower seeds!
